We investigate critical properties of the stacked-J1-J2 Ising model on a cubic lattice. Using Monte Carlo simulations and renormalization group, we find single phase transition first order for J2/J1>1/2. The renormgroup approach predicts that can be second from universality class O(2) model, but results show another set exponents: exponents continuously vary form values typical first-order in finite-size scaling theory at 1/2<J2/J1<1 to limit J2/J1→∞. also exclude pseudo-first-order behavior observed J1-J2 square lattice 0.67≲J2/J1≲0.9.
